Lot 1606 Eddystone Pattern 14 .338 Win Mag #111595

This is a highly sporterized British bolt action rifle. Originally manufactured in Eddystone, Pennsylvania by Remington Arms for use during WWI, this rifle was re-chambered in .338 Winchester Magnum. It features an approximately 24.5" Apex (Marked Match Grade) in-the-white tapered barrel with a recessed crown, a dog-leg style bolt handle, a serrated curved trigger, manual safety, no iron sights, no sling studs or swivels, and a hinged floorplate. The Monte Carlo style stock is in good condition with very minor handling marks, no buttplate, and a checkered grip cap for the semi-pistol grip. The bore looks dark, or dirty, but the rifling looks strong. The original bluing (receiver, trigger guard and floorplate) is approximately 20% with scattered rust throughout. The action seems to be sound, but the magazine parts have been removed rendering this rifle as a single shot tool. This rifle also comes with Redfield mounts.
Condition is NRA Fair
